Linus har blivit "stor"!  Att Linus har framtiden framför sig var helt klart. Hela sin ungdomstid i GGIK
har han visat vilken talang  han är.  Från Hockeyskolan till att alltid spelat med en äldre åldersgrupp
än han själv, vilket gjort ibland att han inte "tagit i" i sin egen åldersgrupp. Ändå med  sin närvaro
vara stor tillgång för laget. Placeringssäker back med offensiva kvalitér. Gick till BIF, som 16 -åring.
Gjorde 15 matcher  i TV-pucken och 7  i Brynäs U16  2007-08.    23 matcher för BIF J18 2008-09.
2009-10 blev det 34 matcher för Brynäs J18 och  2010-11,  J20 31 matcher. 2011-12 42st i BIF J20.
Nu har Linus tagit steget över och blivit senior och sin första säsong i div 1 Västervik. Elit nästa!

Linus Bognesand, 20, gjorde den gångna säsongen sista året som junior, och det i Brynäs lag i
J20 Super Elit. Laget gjorde en bra grundserie, men slogs ut i åttondelsfinalen.
Linus fick även göra ett antal träningar med Brynäs A-lag.  Att denna säsong  2012-13 slå sig in i
svenska mästarnas trupp är inte det lättaste.
Så när beslutet över en ny klubbadress togs föll valet på Västerviks IK. - Jag fick ett bra intryck
direkt av klubben säger Linus, och jag kommer få bra förutsättningar att utvecklas ytterligare.
Klart att jag gärna hade spelat med Brynäs A-lag nästa säsong, säger Linus, men någonstans
måste man rannsaka sig själv och inse att man inte är mogen för elitserien än.
- Jag siktar stenhårt mot elitserien. Jag satsar 100 procent på ishockeyn, det är nästan det enda
jag tänker på om dagarna, säger Bognesand och skrattar.
Förväntningarna är höga inför säsongen i Västervik. Det ska bli riktigt roligt. Jag har bott i Gävle    
i hela mitt liv, så det blir som en nytändning att spela i ny klubb och bo i en ny stad, svarar Linus.
Linus får sällskap av kompisen Dennis Fröland också han ifrån Brynäs IF.
